Branches of the Iranian Genetics Society
The Iranian Genetics Society, in pursuit of comprehensiveness in examining genetic topics and achieving its defined goals in this field, has seven specialized branches as follows. Its board of directors is selected for a three-year term based on the determined quota for each sub-branch through a secret ballot by its affiliated members:

- Microbial Genetics Branch
- Stem Cells and Developmental Genetics Branch
- Educational and Student Genetics Branch
Each specialized branch has a director selected by the society's board of directors. The executive committee of each branch consists of 5 prominent members and two alternate members.
